Giraffe Tools Review: Wall-Mounted Hose Reels and Pressure Washers Built for Clutter-Free Outdoor Cleaning
Giraffe Tools’ best-documented strength is its retractable hose reels, which customers stick with for years. The brand holds a “Great” 4.2 out of 5 TrustScore on Trustpilot, with 77% five stars. One long-term US customer wrote, “We’ve been using Giraffe retractable hose reel products for over 5 years and wish we started earlier.” Its flagship Retractable Garden Hose Reel has more than 4,000 reviews on the brand’s own site. Giraffe Tools specializes in wall- and ground-mounted retractable reels for garden hoses, air hoses, pressure hoses, vacuum hoses and extension cords, plus the Grandfalls and Crossfalls retractable pressure washers, which mount on a wall with the hose built in. The idea is simple: no more tangled hoses on the ground. Pull out what you need, and a spring-driven mechanism winds it back neatly. Every order ships free, products carry a 2-year warranty plus GT Care support, and there’s a 30-day money-back guarantee. Several customers praise fast, hassle-free replacements: one said a faulty unit was replaced “free of charge,” and the new one had “slightly higher pressure.”
The honest caveat: pressure washer reliability and phone support. 18% of Trustpilot reviews are one-star. Some buyers say their pressure washer “leaked everywhere” or failed within a few years, and one complained that “There is no live person to speak with (only AI).”

Full Review Breakdown
Retractable Hose Reels: The Core Strength
Giraffe Tools built its reputation on retractable garden hose reels. A spring-loaded reel mounts on a wall or sits on the ground, the hose pulls out to the length you need and locks, and a gentle tug winds it back in neatly. No more kinked hoses across the lawn, tripping hazards or tangled piles beside the house. Models come in lengths from about 65ft to 155ft, with swivel brackets that let you pull the hose in different directions. Stainless steel wall-mounted versions add heavy-duty durability. The flagship reel’s 4,000-plus brand-site reviews and comments like “wish we started earlier” show how much difference good hose storage makes for gardeners and homeowners.
Grandfalls Retractable Pressure Washers
Giraffe’s other signature line is the Grandfalls range, wall-mounted pressure washers with a built-in retractable hose reel. Instead of dragging a portable unit out of the garage, you mount it once near a water and power source, then pull out the hose to wash cars, patios, decks, fences and outdoor furniture. Models range from the entry G20 to the Plus and Pro, with the Crossfalls Ultra at the top. The convenience is excellent, but reliability reviews are mixed. Some owners report leaks from the base or internal leaks, while others praise quick replacements. Register your product, keep your receipt, and use the warranty promptly if anything goes wrong.
Air, Pressure, Vacuum and Cord Reels
Beyond garden hoses, Giraffe offers retractable reels for workshops and garages: a 50ft air hose reel for compressors, a pressure hose reel for existing pressure washers, a 30ft vacuum extension hose reel for shop vacs and car detailing, and a heavy-duty 12AWG extension cord reel. These keep busy garages organized and are popular with DIYers, mechanics and car enthusiasts. Matching reels across your space creates a tidy, professional setup, and each wall mount frees up valuable floor space. Check fitting sizes, hose diameters and mounting requirements before buying, especially for air and pressure reels that connect to existing equipment.
Price, Warranty and Customer Support
Giraffe’s garden hose reels typically sit in the low-to-high hundreds of dollars, and pressure washers range from the mid-hundreds to nearly a thousand dollars for the top model. That’s more than basic hose carts or portable washers, but you’re paying for clean, permanent, retractable storage. Every order ships free, products carry a 2-year warranty plus GT Care, and there’s a 30-day money-back guarantee. Support experiences vary. Some customers got “fast answers” and replacements “without any hassle,” while others struggled to reach a real person by phone. Email or online chat with photos and your order number is usually the fastest route.
Best Products Worth Buying
Giraffe’s best-known product and the one with the most loyal fans, backed by more than 4,000 reviews on the brand’s site. It mounts on a wall with a swivel bracket, so you can pull the hose out at an angle across your garden, patio or driveway, lock it at the length you need, then let it rewind smoothly and neatly. Choose a length that matches your space so you’re not dragging extra hose around. It’s ideal for homeowners tired of tangled, kinked hoses and anyone who wants a tidier outdoor area. Mount it securely on a solid wall near your outdoor tap, and give the hose a gentle guide as it winds back to keep the reel working well for years.
The flagship wall-mounted pressure washer, combining a powerful washer with a built-in retractable hose so it’s always ready without dragging equipment around. It’s designed for regular cleaning of cars, driveways, decks, siding, fences and outdoor furniture, and one customer said a replacement unit was “greatly improved with slightly higher pressure.” Install it near both water and power, and follow mounting and winterizing guidance carefully. Since some owners report leaks, register the product, inspect it on first use and contact support right away if anything seems wrong. It’s best for homeowners who pressure wash often and want a permanent, tidy setup.
The entry-level Grandfalls model brings the wall-mounted, retractable-hose concept to a more affordable price. It suits smaller homes, car washing, patio cleaning and lighter seasonal jobs, and it’s a good way to try a fixed pressure washer without paying flagship prices. An Australian owner praised Giraffe for responding quickly and arranging a replacement “without any hassle” when an issue came up. As with other models, check connections for leaks on first use, keep your receipt and use the 2-year warranty if needed. It’s a sensible starting point for anyone who wants convenience without heavy-duty power.
A compact retractable reel for compressor air hoses, perfect for garages and workshops where hoses usually end up coiled on the floor. Use it to inflate tires, run air tools, blow out dust or detail cars, then let the hose rewind cleanly to the wall. Its polypropylene housing keeps it lightweight and easy to mount. It’s one of the more affordable Giraffe products and pairs well with matching reels for a tidy, professional garage. Check that the fittings match your compressor and tools before ordering, and mount it within easy reach of your compressor’s outlet.
